Originally from West Virginia, Lloyd Miller received a calling to pursue music as a career in high school. After graduating he moved to Los Angeles, Ca where he attended Musicians Institute's GIT program.

In his 10 years in L.A. Miller gained valuable live playing and recording experience in venues such as The Whiskey a Go Go, The Cat Club and B.B. Kings Blues Club and studios including the legendary Cherokee Studios on Fairfax blvd. In 2008 he won a Los Angeles Music Award for "Best Guitar Performance".

Miller moved to the "music capital of the world", Austin, Tx in 2011 and formed the Lloyd Miller Band. With their top notch musicianship and Miller's ability to play guitar and write songs that connect with the soul they have consistently performed in the Texas music scene and built a loyal following of fans.

In 2012 they recorded their debut EP which was produced by CJ Eiriksson (U2, Matchbox 20, Incubus).  As stated by Michael Keith of the Rock N Roll View in response to hearing the EP, "Lloyd Miller will affirm your faith in good music again". Miller and his band are currently in the process of recording their second EP which is scheduled for release in spring 2014.
