In his 10 years in L.A. Miller gained valuable live playing and recording experience in venues such as The Whiskey a Go Go, The Cat Club and B.B. Kings Blues Club and studios including the legendary Cherokee Studios on Fairfax blvd. In 2008 he won a Los Angeles Music Award for "Best Guitar Performance".
Miller moved to the "music capital of the world", Austin, Tx in 2010 and formed the Lloyd Miller Band. With their top notch musicianship and Miller's ability to play guitar and write songs that connect with the soul they have consistently performed in the Texas music scene and built a loyal following of fans.
In 2012 they recorded their debut EP which was produced by CJ Eiriksson (U2, Matchbox 20, Incubus). As stated by Michael Keith of the Rock N Roll View in response to hearing the EP, "Lloyd Miller will affirm your faith in good music again". Miller and his band released their second EP, "Light Is Rising", in August 2014. In early 2015 Miller signed on with Seven Day Records and is currently working on recording his first album with the label. They will be releasing it and sending Miller out on tour to support it in 2016.
